About the Founder

Karen Loeffler has a proven record of successful goal attainment in marketing, public relations and sales. Karen’s professional experience in the retail field includes management positions in New York at Tiffany & Company, St. John, Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord & Taylor, Bloomingdale’s, and Macy’s. She graduated from Adelphi University with a BBA in Marketing.

Currently Karen works out of South Florida. In 2018 Karen created and produced “Fashion Meets Art” (FMA) at the Vero Beach Museum of Art, which has become an annual fundraising event for this world class museum. Year one debuted with Simon Doonan, Ambassador at Large for Barneys New York. Year two brought Jonathan Adler, potter and home furnishings designer, to town. Hal Rubenstein, best selling author, designer and one of the founding editors of InStyle magazine, where he served as Fashion Director for 15 years, headlined FMA 2020 and inspired the audience with his charming and witty repartee, discussing his 100 Favorite Dresses and some of the most memorable fashions in film. Supermodel Kim Alexis graced the VBMA stage in 2021, delighting both audiences – Live and Virtual – with stories about the Art of the Cover Shoot while images of her magazine scrolled on the screen above her. FMA 2022 pulled out all of the stops and presented iconic American fashion designer, producer, Project Runway Winner and Mentor Christian Siriano as its headliner. Karen led the conversation with Christian for an awe inspiring discussion about his background, career and fashion as an art form, focusing on Christian Siriano, the artist. In 2016, Karen served as the Co-Chair of the Blue Ribbon Luncheon & Fashion Show for the benefit of Hibiscus Children’s Center of Indian River County and continues to raise funds for the organization and coordinate their annual fashion show. She also hosts a biannual fundraising fashion show for the Cultural Council of Indian River County. Karen’s work has been featured in Vero Beach Magazine, 32963, and The Press Journal.
